Born in Mona Vale on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Dru began surfing at a young age. Traveling extensively throughout Africa, Europe, The United States, South America, Indonesia, and the East Coast of Australia, he gained a good knowledge of different waves and boards.
Shaping began from a love of creating something functional while remaining pleasing to the eye. This grew into what you see today as Oceanside Surfcraft. We call it functional art! Still based out of Mona Vale, these boards are focused on quality over quantity and this is seen in the finished product.
